Monica Ann Renee Rodriguez, age 18, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Plano, Texas. She was born July 6, 1994 in Amarillo, Texas to John Rodriguez and Shannon Hammons Nunez.
A funeral service for Monica will be held, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Nazarene Church in Pilot Point. Burial will follow at Pilot Point Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service at 2:00pm at the church.
Monica is survived by her dad, Tony Rodriguez of Amarillo; her mom, Shannon Nunez of Denton; brothers, David Rodriguez of Denton, John Anthony Rodriguez Jr. of Fresno, California; sisters, Heather Rodriguez of Pilot Point, and Tiffany Hammons of Amarillo; and, maternal grandmother, Julia Hunt of Breckenridge.
Monica was an organ donor and was able to help several families
Funeral services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
