Wanda Mae Henson, age 85, formerly of Tioga, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012.She was born July 4, 1927 to Leslie D. and Ola Strickland Reeves in Duncan, Oklahoma.She married James E. Henson, Sr. and was a homemaker.
Visitation for Wanda will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 6:00-7:30 pm at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey.A funeral service will be Thursday morning at 10:00 am at the slay Chapel with burial following at Tioga Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Larry and wife, Georgette Henson of Little Elm; granddaughters, Devlynn and husband, Jamie Hoffman of The Colony, Andraea McDonald of Lewisville and Crystal Henson of Little Elm; six great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; brother, L.D. Reeves of Cotton Center; and sister, Goldie Stanton of Dimmitt. Wanda is predeceased by her parents; husband, James; son, James Henson, Jr. and sister, Ruth Ingram.
Funeral services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
