Hazel E. Faircloth, 92, of Gainesville, TX passed away on Saturday July 28, 2012 in Gainesville. She was born on August 16, 1919 to Winiford and Lizzie Cowatt Hayes in Adel, Georgia. Hazel married BMCA Grady W. Faircloth in Adel, GA in 1936.The wife of a Navy man, took her from coast to coast and Kodiak Alaska and through three wars, WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at First Baptist Church Sanger at 10 am with the Rev. Skip McNeal officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 pm at Bluebonnett Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6 until 7pm at Denton Funeral Home in Denton, TX.

Hazel is survived by her son, Chris Faircloth of Sanger,; Daughters, Robbyn Bachle of Norman, OK and Nancy Thornton of Glenn Heights, TX, Sister Betty Sue Goggans of Tifton, Ga. and Brother Faye Hayes of Virginia Beach, Va.. She also has many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and many friends. Hazel loved the lord and was active in many churches throughout her life.Working with youth and Women’s Missionary Union was her passion. She worked in retail for many years and was a great mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Missions Fund at First Baptist Church Sanger.

Funeral services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home in Denton, TX.
