Samuel Morris Spalding, 90, of Flower Mound died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at a Tyler, Texas memory care facility.
Morris was born March 10, 1922, in Aubrey to Samuel and Jimmie Lou Spalding.He married Nelda Joyce Brockett on July 14, 1940.He was a veteran of World War II and Korea.
Mr. Spalding is survived by three daughters:Karen Bedard of Terrell, Denise Endecott and husband, Stephen, of Whitehouse and Lisa Francis and husband, Michael, of New Braunfels; sister, Loraine Faught of Pilot Point; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.The family will receive relatives and friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, at the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Alzheimer’s Alliance.
