Charles W. Harpole, Sr. age 70 of Tioga, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in Denton, Texas. Charles was born August 22, 1941 in Tioga to Charlie and Katherine Reichle Harpole, and was a blacksmith and an avid Texas Ranger fan.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 17, 2012 at Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point, Texas from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2012 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Huff/Slay Funeral Home Chapel in Pilot Point with Steve Newman officiating. Burial will be at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
Charles is survived by one daughter, Alonda McQueen and her husband, Mark of Ardmore, Oklahoma; two sons; Charles W. Harpole,Jr and wife Gail of Tioga, TX and Chad Harpole and wife Kimberly of Tioga.Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Francis and Glenda. Charles is preceded in death by one step-son, Gary Don Robinson, one brother, Vernon Harpole, and one sister, Karen Hessell.
Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and the staff of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point, Texas.
