Funeral services for Karon D. “Neecie”Terry, 56, of Denton, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Homes, Inc., of Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
Karon was born April 18, 1956 in Jefferson, Texas and passed away August 22, 2012 at her home. She retired after 25 years from the city of Irving then the city of Cornith. She was currently working for the city of Denton as a building and zoning inspector. She was a Baptist. Her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews were her life, and they knew her as a loving and giving soul with a huge heart. She was preceded in death by her father Tim Terry; and step-father Cole Hightower.
Karon is survived by her mother Lyvonne Hightower, of Gilmer; one brother Tony Terry and wife Tammy, of Denham Springs, La; one sister Tammy Walls and husband Henry, of Hickory Creek; four nieces Brittany Gresham, of Hinesville, GA, Chelsea Walls, of Hickory Creek, Sharon Walls, of Lake Dallas, and Toni Kay Terry, of Baton Rouge, LA; two nephews Colby Terry, of Baton Rouge, LA and Allen Walls, of Boca Raton, FL; two uncles; four aunts; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
