Radonna Gay Ford born in Houston, Texas on 12/29/55 to Lyndia Hamm Lane and
Vernon Lane, passed away in her home on 9/4/12 from complications of Alzheimers Syndrome.She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a graduate of Lake Dallas High School in 1974 and was a member of Lake Cities United Methodist Church.Her interests include Grandchildren, Texas Rangers Baseball, Softball (where she meet Jim, the love of her life), Yellowstone National Park, photography, and dog obedience training.She also served as - Past-President of LakeDallas FFA Booster Club, Past Secretary/Treasurer Lake Cities Baseball Association.
Radonna was preceded in death by her Mother and is survived by her husband of 20 years Jim Ford of Corinth, TX; children, Rick Cox and his wife Christal of Muenster, TX and Ryan Cox and wife Tori of Sanger, TX; grandchildren-Abby, Ben, Gracie, and Laney;brothers: Mike Lane and wife Brigitt, Willis, TX, Mark Lane and wife Morna of Houston, TX, and Mitch Black, Collinsville, TX;sister-Lyndia Hale, Newkirk OK; Mother and Father in-law Jim and Connie Ford of Fort Worth, Tx, Sister-in-Laws: Kim Johnson and husband Fred of Fort Worth, Shelly Ferguson and husband David of Gainesville, TX, Lori Richardson of Haslet; as well as her faithful canine companion, Kay, and several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Cindy Davern, Frank and Judy Graham, Ann Shay, the Thursday night Survivor group, and Odyssey Hospice (Connie, Christy, Corrine, and Lynne).
