Juanita Mae Ellis passed away on September 7, 2012 in Denton, TX. She was born on May 15, 1922 to Bowen and Bessie Snow in Clarendon, TX.
On February 7, 1942 she married the love of her life Joseph Alvin Ellis. Together they adopted 3 girls, Mary Jane, Kathy and Cherylynn Ellis. Juanita was a longtime member of College View Baptist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held September 22, 2012 2:00 p.m. at the family residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Alvin Ellis and 2 daughters Kathy Ellis Gray and Mary Jane Dedrick. She is survived by her daughter Cherylynn Ellis Rigaud of Paris, France; 2 sisters, Arrie Lee Sparks of Princeton, TX and Lillian Adell Ragsdale of Aubrey, TX; 3 grandchildren, Richard Wright, Heather Schroeder and Andrea Armes and 7 great-grandchildren.
