Jeff Sternin passed away quietly on September 11, 2012 in his home. He is already greatly missed. Jeff was born in Clarksville, NY and raised in Tondawanda, NY.

He moved to Texas in his 20’s and took a job at Denton State School, where he was dedicated to serving his residents. He retired after twenty six and a half years in 2009.

Jeff loved to help people and had such a kind heart. He had a number of hobbies including; building model airplanes, reading, playing the guitar, watching “The Three Stooges” and fishing. In his later years, he took up an interest in canoeing and spent a lot of time on Lake Lewisville.

Jeff is survived by his daughters, Keri Ross and Tiffany Torres; his son, Jason Sternin and his 4 grandchildren; his mother, Glenna Sternin; his brothers, Joel Sternin, Paul Sternin, Mark D. Sternin and his sister, Heather Sternin. A small ceremony was held for his family on Sunday, September 16, 2012.
