Services for Virginia “Ginny” Clark Hazelton, 69, of Marietta, OK will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Temple Baptist Church, Gainesville, TX, with Rev. Eddie Chennault officiating. Private family burial will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.

Ginny was born March 26, 1943 in Coleman, OK the daughter of Jack and Velma Clark. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 20, at her residence in Marietta, following a long battle with cancer.

Ginny and her husband, Jerry, were former residents of Lindsay, TX and members of Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville. The couple moved to Marietta when she retired from State Farm Insurance and he retired from Peterbilt Motors. Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook for her family especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed traveling and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Luke Vinson of Enville, OK; two sons and daughter-in-law, Keith and Darla Hendrix of Marble Falls, TX and Alan Hendrix of Edmond, OK; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her mother, Velma Clark of Marietta.

Mrs. Hazelton was preceded in death by her father, Jack Clark; and grandparents, John and Beulah Clark, George Nicholas and Effie White.

Serving as casket bearers will be grandsons, Jeremiah Vinson, Zach Vinson and Jake Vinson; and George White, Jerry Polston and George Bryant. Honorary bearers are grandchildren, Ross Hendrix, Maggie Hendrix, Jett Hendrix and Amy Hendrix.

Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, Temple Baptist Church, Enville Community Church or the Shady Dale Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home 100 East Main Street – Marietta, OK.
