James Byron Pannell, 46, of Aubrey, TX passed away at his home on Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was born February 9, 1966 in Denton, TX to James O. and Carol M. (Ford) Pannell. He was a graduate of Denton High School in 1984 and attended Sul Ross University in Alpine, TX. He worked in Retail Sales, and was a member of the Methodist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age.

Byron was preceded in death by his mother, Carol and sister, Kim.

Mr. Pannell is survived by his father, James O. Pannell and wife, Madla (Betsy) of Aubrey; nieces and nephews, Brittany Hoyt of Carrollton, Hillary Grantham of Jackson, MS, Nate Hoyt of Arlington, David Hoyt of Carrollton; uncle and aunt, Dr. Bob Pannell and Dr. Sue Pannell of Boerne; cousins, Bill and Tommy Hall of Denton, Monica Bowden of San Antonio and Angie Villareal of Austin and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in his honor. He will then be laid to rest in the Green Valley Cemetery.
