Walter Guy Leuty, 95, passed from this life to Heaven, Tuesday, October 2, 2012.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside: 1 p.m. Friday in Justin Cemetery in Justin. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Arlington Funeral Home.
Walter was born in July 3, 1917 in Justin to Callie and Nannie Belle Leuty. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He retired from the IRS in 1972. Walter was married to Naomi Burks Leuty for 64 years. He was a charter member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Arlington where he attended until he moved to Red Oak in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi; parents; and older brother, Howard.
Survivors: Daughter, Chelsia Kay and husband, Ned of De Soto; son, Walter Kyle and wife, Merissa of Red Oak; and sister, Edna Ruth Leuty of Lexington, Ky.
