Charles Leon Henderson was born on October 24, 1952 in Sanger, Texas to Rev. Paul Henderson and Wanda Arlene (Harvey) Henderson. He passed away at his home in Sanger on October 4, 2012 at the age of 59.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1977 and on July 7, 2003 Adrinna Felicia Perry.He was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Paula Marie (Henderson) Wilson of Dallas, Tashia Nunley of Sherman, and Charleston Jackson Henderson of Sherman; two sisters, Pauline Henderson-Garrett and Maxine Henderson both of Sanger; three brothers, Don Henderson of Denton, Willie and Terry Henderson both of Sanger.He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two brothers, Leroy and John Henderson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home and funeral services will be on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church in Sanger with Rev. Reginald Logan officiating.Interment will be in the Sanger Cemetery.
