Constance Luella Alger started her spiritual adventure with our Lord on November 7, 2012. Connie’s desire was to pass away at her lake home where she had so many wonderful memories and she died in her daughters loving arms. She was born November 30, 1933 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Oral “Tex” Wells and Flossie Mae Calles Wells.

The Family will host a Celebration of Life on November 30, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. located 5200 Lake Shore Dr. Denton Texas. In lieu of flowers, please donate to COPD Foundation in Connie’s name.

Connie had a flair and passion for life that was contagious, free-spirited and made her one of a kind. She had a positive can do attitude that showed in everything she did. She inspired all that knew her to believe, overcome anything and to be uniquely themselves. At a young age, she developed a unique talent and imagination for designing and building a variety of items. Over her lifetime, she was a manager, entrepreneur, restaurant and Reno club owner, home renovator, interior designer and accomplished artist. She owned several businesses but most notable would be her arts through Ceramics, Christmas wood designs and her last adventure of Paper Tole. Both her Ceramic’s and Paper Tole produced numerous best in show awards and her signed Paper Tole art sold throughout the US. She was a most gifted artist and teacher, but her most cherished gift to us all was her devotion to her family and her warmth touched us all. Family, laughter, love, art and adventures is what was most important to her.

Connie’s family wishes to acknowledge Accolade Hospice Care, Friends and relatives who gave their Devotion, Love and Tenderness to make her last days peaceful and fulfilled.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her loving husbands Donald L. Anderson Sr., Donald Eckenrod and Arvil F. Alger. She is survived by her brother Wayne Estes and sister Norma Dean Wells as well as her children Kris D Eckenrod (Michael D McManaman), and the Anderson family Donald L. Jr. (Jeannie A), Donna Lou ( William Tarver), Jaquita Marie (James Chreene), Melinda Jo , and Dwayne Mason. Two grandchildren; Deven McManaman and David Anderson and one great-grandson Ryder Lane McManaman born October 28, 2012. She was able to hold and love Ryder before she passed away.
