Patricia Strong Briscoe passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She was 82. She was a dear mother, a cherished wife, a friend to many and a granny extraordinaire.
She was born in Denton, Texas on May 11, 1930. She graduated from Denton High School and attended North Texas State University until she married Joe Bailey Briscoe, Jr. They had 3 children; Cheryl Lyn Danna (David Joseph Danna) Debra Ann Briscoe-Edy, Richard Scott Briscoe (deceased). Patricia was blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren; Stacy Michele Danna (Brian Skipinski) Mark David Danna (Brittany Danna) and Jared Joseph Edy. She had one great grandson, Braeden Lucas Skipinski, who lit up her world in her last months.
Patricia was Texan to the core, a southern belle at heart and was our soft place to fall. Our mom was the strongest woman we have ever known. She was kind and compassionate and oh-so-stubborn! We loved and will continue to love her with all of our hearts. We miss her and cannot imagine our lives without her. She and our father had a love affair for the ages and they are reunited in Heaven in the presence of the Lord. That is all she ever wanted...
