Roger Owen Silknitter

     Roger Owen Silknitter, born December 10, 1942 in Manchester, Ohio, to parents Paul and Hazel Silknitter, passed away peacefully in his Ponder, Texas home, November 26.  He was 69 years old. 
     Roger graduated from Manchester High School in 1960 and Bowling Green State University in 1964. He went on to become the President of URC Faucets before he retired in 1997. He was an honorable and humble man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 
     Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Rita. Sons and daughter-in-laws, Steven of Ponder TX , Scott and Darlene of Greensboro NC, Kevin and Kathy of Wichita Falls TX, and Korey and Marie of Rosewood NC. Grandchildren, Alex, Jason, Ryan, Riley, Tommy, Kathryn, Tess, Chloe, Ella, Reece, Kodey, and Jacob. 
     The family will have a private celebration of life party. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Roger’s name to R.O.S. Therapy Systems 3718 Alliance Drive, Suite A. Greensboro, North Carolina 27407. Roger’s 25 year battle was the inspiration for the company and donations will be used to provide R.O.S. Game and Activity Systems to Adult Day Centers nationwide.
