Dorris Harrison, 91, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on
Monday at St. Francis St. Francis
Protestant Fellowship, 281 St. Clare Drive, Crowley, Tx 76036.
Dorris was born March 28, 1921, in Denton. After he returned
from World War II he received two degrees, undergraduate and post-graduate,
from North Texas. Dorris was an Industrial Arts teacher in the FWISD for 35
years. He was a member of Meadowbrook Methodist in Fort Worth for over 30
years.
Dorris is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jayne Harrison; son, Martin Harrison and wife, Pam; daughter, Sara Jayne Altwies and husband, Jeff; son, Bill Harrison; grandchildren, Christopher Harrison, Rachel Shulman, Josie Whipple, Anna Altwies and Audrey Altwies; and great-grandchildren, Bren and Aubry Harrison and Jasper Whipple.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Protestant Chapel at St. Francis Village.
