Bryan James Wain Gray, 70, of Trophy Club passed away Monday morning, December 03, 2012. He was born on August 9, 1942 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Growing up in Victoria, British Columbia, he met and married his wife of 49 years, Sally (Powell) Gray. Bryan received his Doctorate of Health Education from the University of Oregon. The Gray family relocated to Denton, Texas in 1971 where he served as chairman of the Health Education Department at the University of North Texas. Before retiring, Bryan became a Licensed Insurance Agent and Broker.
Prior to the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, he enjoyed golf, coaching youth sports and spending time with friends and family. Bryan is survived by his wife Sally, daughter Dianne and husband Bill, son Jimmy and wife Ami. He has four grandchildren; Avri, Marisa, Gunnar, and Tori. The family has decided to donate Bryan’s body for Alzheimer’s research at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Memorials may be made to alz.org and Seekers Group of First United Methodist of Grapevine.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Grapevine Founders Chapel, 422 Church Street on Monday, December 10 at 3:00p.m.
