Geneal L. Burch Tibbets

Geneal was born at Argyle, Texas on March 28, 1924 the daughter of Jess Anderson and Vesta Mae (Milligan) Burch. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Homer C. Henderson, A. R. Adkerson, and William S. Tibbets; brothers, Clarence, George, Conlas, A. D., Johnny and Curtis Burch; also sisters, Odessa Armintront, Ruby Jean Nichlas, Peggy Joann Spencer, and grandson, Burk Allen Henderson.

She is survived by her son Larry G. Henderson, daughter in law Pam Snider, brothers, Ellis, Wayne, R. B. and Norman Burch; sisters, Jessie Mae Gromanzky, Mary F. Bruns, Billie M. Brown, and Maxine E. Bell; special sister in law special friend Helen Jones Inmon and many nieces and nephews.

Geneal completed public school in Denton. She was employed with General Telephone Co in Denton for thirteen years. She moved to Dallas in 1956 and was employed with First National Bank and Preston State Bank. She retired from the banking business and moved to Plano and was employed with Legacy Drive Baptist Church Preschool for fourteen years before moving back to Denton in 2003.

A memorial service will be at 11 A.M. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Hickory Creek Baptist Church, 5716 Teasley Lane, Denton, Rev. Raymond Castro, officiating, with interment in the family plot at Old Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
