Harold Eugene Dickey, 89, of Round Rock, Texas passed away, December 4, 2012 in Round Rock. He was born June 19, 1923 to James s Epp Dickey and Culla Lillie (Hope) Dickey in Van Alstyne, Texas. He served in the United States Marines during World War II. Harold earned Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s of Science degrees, and retired from education with his last assignment in the Judson School District.
Harold married Annie Pauline Blumberg July 12, 1943 in Pilot Point, Texas. He is survived by his wife Annie Pauline Dickey of Round Rock,and three children, Terry Roland Dickey of Sugarland, Texas; David Nelson Dickey of Pinehurst, North Carolina; and Rose Ellen Holly of Round Rock, Texas.Harold was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Herbert Ellis Dickey, James Ervin Dickey; and Weldon Wesley Dickey.
Visitation will be at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow.Burial will be at Pilot Point Community Cemetery in Pilot Point, Texas.
