Mary Catherine Bruce Painter passed away, on December 19, 2012 in Denton, Tx. She was born on April 1, 1930 to Ernest & Freddie Mae Bruce in Denton, Tx. She was a graduate of NT Demonstration School in 1948.
She married Jerry Painter of Nocona, Tx on August 23, 1952 in Denton, Tx at Highland Baptist Church.
Services were held in Nocona, Tx at Bethel Baptist Church on December 21. Burial was in the Nocona Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her parents, and siblings Juanita Searfoss of Cortland, NY, Wallace Bruce of Ft. Worth, Tx, Peggy Sanford, Joe Bob, and Frank of Denton, Curtis of Goldboro, NC.
She is survived by daughters Sheryl Miller & Danny, Teri Hoyt & Wayne of Montgomery, AL and son James Painter of Nocona, her brother Fred of Hilltop Lakes, Tx and Carolyn Branch of Denton and 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.
Pallbearers were Taylor & Austin Hoyt, Bryan Cose, Chad McLerran, Craig Johnson, & Andrew Fenoglio.
