Funeral service for Joyce Ann Stearns 57, of Whitesboro Tx, are set for Friday January 4, 2013 10:00 a.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro ,Tx. Joyce passed away on January 1, 2013 at her home.
Joyce was born on December 26,1955 in Farmington, Missouri to Fred and Wanda Abney. She worked at the Denton State Supported Living Center in Denton , Tx.
Joyce is survived by her husband Terry Stearns, son and daughter in law Michael and Erin Stearns, daughter and son in law Melissa and Shane Breidenstein, grandsons Steven Breidenstein and Jacob Stearns, mother Wanda Brown, brother Danny Abney and sister Tammy Clayton.She was preceded in death by her father Fred Abney and a sister Leisa French.
