Jason Patrick McQueen, 40, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. Jason was born on February 5, 1972 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Jason grew up going to school in Sanger, Texas and spent his summers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Marching Band and The Theater at Sanger High School. He graduated in 1990 and enlisted in the Navy shortly thereafter, where he trained in Cryptography. He served in the Navy for six years at naval bases spanning from Pensacola, Florida, Bangor, Maine, Washington D.C., Edinburgh, Scotland and Diego Garcia Naval Air Facility. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1998. He then took his military skills and applied them to his work career in the private sector specializing in Information Technology where he worked with computers from simple maintenance to mainframes.

Jason was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and an avid animal lover, specifically his love for Boston Terriers.

Survivors: Parents; mother, Sharon Lyons, father Patrick McQueen and step-mother Darlene McQueen, brother; Sean McQueen and wife Melanie and nephew Grant McQueen, grandparents, George and Lucille Hartmann, uncle; Lance Kinder and wife Colleen, aunts; Sandra Alseth and Marquerite Kinder, cousins; Erika Kinder, Stacie Cyborowski, Christopher Jacques and wife Christine and girlfriend Rachel Goldthwaite.

A Memorial Service was held Friday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel. Please visit www.sparkman-hillcrest.com to leave your condolences for the McQueen Family.
