Bertha LaRue Faulkner, 92, of Justin, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Longmeadow Care Center. She was born on November 5, 1920 in Ellis County, TX to Thomas J. and Zelpha (Baker) White. She married Olvis Daeryl Faulkner on October 24, 1952 in Abilene, TX. She was retired from the health care field and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Justin.

Mrs. Faulkner is survived by daughter Terry Miller and her husband Charlie of Ponder; sons Mike Norton and his wife Joan of Garland and Edward Norton and his wife Patricia of Cooke County, TX; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and her best friend Mina Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband and son Raymond Clifford Norton.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Eakin Cemetery at Ponder, TX at 3 P.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 with Rev. Kim Broadstreet officiating.   Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
