Rebecca Ann Spears of Oak Point, Texas passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, January 11, 2013.Rebecca was the daughter of Janithe Ann (Haire) and Richard Lee Humphrey and was born September 7, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. On October 7, 1978 Rebecca married Larry Spears in Johnstown, Ohio. She worked as a vice president in financial services. 

 Rebecca is survived by her husband, Larry of Oak Point; one son, Nicholas Spears of Wylie, Texas, one daughter, Megan and her husband, Ben Griffith of Lucas, Texas; and two grandchildren, Aidan and Annelyse Griffith.Also surviving are one sister, Laurie Stockton and husband, Shane of Westerville, Ohio; and two brothers, Mike Humphrey and wife, Janet of Hilliard, Ohio and Dan Humphrey of Columbus Ohio.

 The last four years of Rebecca’s life was viewed as a blessing and not seen as battling cancer. Her priority was her family, children and grandchildren who were the love of her life.She was a positive and giving lady and lead by example.Rebecca had the attitude of always moving forward and not dwelling on the past.

 There will be a memorial service,Saturday, Jan. 19th at 10:30 am at Midway Baptist Church in Aubrey TX with Reverend John Theisen officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Midway Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
