 A Celebration of Life service for Wanda Joy Wardlaw Fore of Farmers Branch, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 4725 FM 720 West, Aubrey, TX 76227.Wanda went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2012.

 Wanda was born February 6, 1930, in Aubrey, TX to Newt and Gertrude Harbert Wardlaw.She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Ross and Onus Wardlaw, brothers-in-law, Wick Steele, Lloyd Ott, Paul Hornbeck and ex-husband, Doyce Gene Fore. She is survived by her brother, Robert and wife, Bernice Wardlaw, sisters, Gerry Ott, Betty Sue Steele, Bea Hornbeck, Frances and husband, Henry George, sister-in-law, Twila Wardlaw, step-daughter, Ronda Gay Fore Poindexter, six nieces and six nephews. Wanda retired after 17 years with Nissan Corporation, worked part-time in the gift shop at RHD Hospital and Moore Business Forms, Denton.She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with family members.Special thanks to Groom Senior Living and Willow Creek Memory Care Staff in Allen, TX for ensuring her last months were comfortable and peaceful.
