David Arthur Finney, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, January 15. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Alice Finney. David is survived by his son, Jack Finney, daughters Sara and Samantha Finney. brother, Harrold Finney, and sister, Loraine Finney.
David grew up in Winnsboro, TX where he went on to play golf for the University of North Texas (NTSU at the time). He was a salesman and most recently worked for Bankston Honda in Lewisville.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10am at First United Methodist Church of Denton located at 201 S. Locust St. in Denton, TX in the Sanctuary with Matt Gaston and Deana Ferguson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the youth ministries at the First United Methodist Church of Denton.
