Vianie Adleen Yelton Clinton, 86, of Denton passed from this life into eternal life and peace with her Lord and Savior on January 23, 2012 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born September 28, 1926 in the Cole Community in Oklahoma to Marcus E. Yelton and Vian Cole Yelton. She married Raymond Rodney Clinton on August 7, 1944 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1999.She was an active member of the Shady Shores Baptist Church and the church Prayer Team.

Vianie was a member of Denton VFW and VFW Auxiliary. She was a former Rancher and Craft Store owner. 

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for Visitation Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 then a graveside service will be held at the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle with Rev. Bob Joyce officiating. There will be a memorial service and celebration of life lunch at Shady Shores Baptist Church after the graveside service.The family request that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to the Shady Shores Baptist Church at 401 W. Shady Shores Rd., Shady Shores, TX 76208 or to the Vianie and Raymond Clinton Argyle High School Scholarship Fund at Argyle High School, 800 Eagle Dr., Argyle, TX 76226. 

Vianie is survived by daughters, Raedean Bolton and husband Douglas of Denton, Raeanna Thomasson and husband Gus of San Luis Obispo CA, son, Rodney D. Clinton and wife Barb Kirk of Aubrey, grandchildren, Hugh Bolton and wife Angela, Erin Clabiorne and husband Carlos, Karen Delaney and husband Lloyd, Cody Clinton and wife Amy, Clinessa Burch and husband Aaron, Lillian Dennis and husband Chris, Michael Clinton, Spenser Barefield and wife Sonja, Cooper Barefield, great grandchildren Kelly, Colt and Raya Delaney; Brenda Clinton; Olivia and Simone Clabiorne; Cole and Kathleen Bolton, nephews, Wayne Woods and wife Joann of Bluejacket, Oklahoma, Don Yelton and wife Carol of Denison, TX, nephew-in-law Carl Page and wife Jean of Blair, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Madaline Woods, Geraldeen Moore Hodge, brother, Burdette Yelton, nieces, Wanda Revels Vanderpool, Dottie Littlefield, and Mona Page.
