 Robertine Rita Kelly, of Hickory Creek, TX passed away February 26, 2013 in Denton, TX. She was the daughter of Henry and Irene (Meehan) Schafer. She was born February 18, 1924 in Chicago, IL. She married Ensign William G. Kelly December 29, 1944 in Oxnard, California.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Ellen Mary Kelly, brothers Jim Schafer, Harry Schafer (late Mary Jane), Jack Schafer, and her sister Mae Betty Langdon (late Bud).

 She is survived by her husband of 68 years and her children Dennis Kelly, Maureen Little (Eldon), Kitty Kelly (Mike), Robbie Bong (Charlie), Tricia Kelly, Bill Kelly (Adrienne), Dan Kelly, and Anne Silveus (Jim). She is also survived by sisters Peggy Kelly (late Jack), Therese Dowiarz (George), brothers Bill Schafer (Jane), Edward Schafer (Pat), as well as 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

 Robertine graduated from Providence High School in Chicago, IL. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and traveling with her husband. She was an avid reader with a strong interest in current events and politics.

 Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 2800 Pennsylvania Ave. Denton, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark’s Outreach Fund.
