Dorothea “Dottie” Gail McEuin, of Denton, was born March 28, 1944 in Decatur, TX to James Allen and Josephine Arlice (Malone) Lewis. She was a 1962 graduate of Denton High School and worked as a Grade Level Counselor at Denton High for the Denton Independent School District. She was married to Grady Raymond McEuin, Jr. on March 25, 1967 in Denton, and he passed away on July 23, 2010. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Denton.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton, with Rev. Ken Cartwright and Dr. Jeff Williams, officiating. Burial will follow later at Roselawn Memorial Park

Mrs. McEuin is survived by a daughter, Malinda Yeargin and husband Jason of Sherman; sons G. Ray McEuin and wife Kari of Flower Mound, James Allen McEuin and wife Courtney of Louisville, K, Ryan McEuin and wife Annie of Denton; brother Carol D Lewis and wife Barbara of Janesville, WI; nineteen grandchildren and one angel.

In lieu of flowers, a benefit account in Dottie’s memory has been established at DATCU c/o James McEuin; or, memorial contributions can be mailed to Denton Public School Foundation, Inc., 1307 S. Locust, Denton, TX 76201.
