James Darrell Pittman

The soul of James Darrell Pittman, also known as Jim, Jimmy, or JD, left this world April 26, 2013 following surgery complications. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Roy and Nell Pittman on December 9, 1932. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He moved to Lake Dallas in 1979 and had a career in the Electronic Quality Control field.

He is survived by wife Kit, daughters Gwen Salinas, Ginger Martin, Debbie Brown, Denise Plan, son Geoff Tarwarter, brothers Bobby and Lee Pittman. Additionally, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many more in-laws and extended family whose lives were touched by his presence. There will be a celebration of his time with us at 11AM Tuesday April 30th, 2013 at the First Baptist Church Corinth located at 3033 Meadowview Drive Corinth. In lieu of flowers we ask that condolence donations be made in honor of him to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or First Baptist Church Corinth.
