Benton Udale Carter, 85, of Hot Springs, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2013. He was born April 14, 1928 in Mansfield, Arkansas to Benton and Jewell (Wilson) Carter. Dale was a devoted family man and loved God. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

Dale is predeceased by his parents, wife, Reba Carter, brothers, Bill Carter and James Carter.

Loving survivors include daughter, Vanessa (Jonathan) Trammel and daughter, Vicki Parker, of Hot Springs; sister, Ila Axtell, of Denton, Texas; four grandchildren, Cameron Sims, Landon (Lillie) Sims, Chelsea Petty and Callie Petty; two great-grandchildren, Ella Sims and Cooper Sims; sisters-in-law, Frances Carter, of Aubrey, Texas, Brenda Mitchell, of Hot Springs and Earleen Hawthorne, of Mtn. Pine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the funeral home with Dale's grandson, Landon Sims officiating. Dale's final resting place will be next to his beloved wife, Reba Carter at Bethel Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Cameron Sims, Landon Sims, Jonathan Trammel, James Bryant Carter, Doug Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Robert Hawthorne, Eddie Carter, Scott Carter, Shawn Carter, James Farmer, Freddy Lynch and Travis Scott.
