Larry Wayne Williams departed this world June 22, 2013. He was born in Denton, Texas, and resided in Denton, Texas. He graduated from Krum High School in 1970, from a class of 13.

He was born to Alvin C. Williams and Mary Josephine Henry Williams, on November 30, 1949, who preceded him in death. He was 63 years old. Larry leaves behind many empty hearts: son Craig A. Williams, son Clint A. Williams (deceased), brother Roy Craig Williams and wife Bonnie Williams, nephews Casey Williams and Colt Bois, sister Linda Homer, niece Rhonda Costello and nephew Kenneth Grimes, his extended family Mark and Madeliene Foster, their children Laura Urich and Gunnery Sargent Heath Foster and wife Jennifer Foster, and their grandchildren Bailey, Kylee, and Toree Urich and Bryce and Zoe Foster and Kayde James. Also the whole Foster Family and The Foster Western Shop Family. His beloved best friends Dr. David Tucker and Mary Jane Mandel, and his beloved dogs Clifford, whom he is now with, and Coco who will dearly miss him. Plus a host of friends that cannot be listed.

Larry served proudly in the United States Marine Corp from 1970-1972. During this time he served in the Vietnam War. He was a Disabled Veteran and carried the old saying "Once a Marine, Always a Marine" proudly.

Larry loved life, if it wasn't in his younger years with his mule Jake, then it was in his later years with his beloved dog Clifford and then Coco. You could go to the dog park any day and see Larry and Clifford playing Hide-n-Seek or eating ice cream at Braums. Larry loved the outdoors, snow skiing in the winter and scuba diving as it was warm enough.

A little man with a HUGE HEART OF GOLD will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial will be held on Monday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m., Denton Presbyterian Church, Rev. Paul Dunklau presiding.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to: Denton Animal Shelter Foundation,

P.O. Box 486, Denton, TX 76202
