Aubrey "Ben" Benjamin Pinnell Jr., 78, of Corinth, TX, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

The funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Dr. Bill La Barr will be officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mulkey Mason. Burial will follow the funeral at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.

Aubrey Benjamin Pinnell was born in Shamrock, TX on August 19th, 1934. He graduated from Austin High School and continued on to receive a Masters from SMU. He served as a 2nd Lt. in the Army Reserves from 1957 to 1965. Ben was married to Sylvia Reed Pinnell on November 1st, 2001.

He enjoyed a long career in land development from the time he graduated until he retired in 2007. He enjoyed golf, real estate, family, traveling, and good cookin'.

He is survived by spouse Sylvia Pinnell, children Rosie Emerison, Leisha Boynton, Angela Bingham, and Alex Feldhahn, daughter in-law's Carrie Frier and Regina Pinnell, son-in-law's Henry Emerison and Nick Bingham and grandchildren Jake DeRossett, Blake Rios, Makenzye Pinnell, Taylor Emerison, Jaklynn Pinnell, Levi James, and David Severus Bingham.

His father, Aubrey Benjamin Pinnell Sr., mother Zola Caldwell Pinnell, son Aubrey Benjamin Pinnell III, precedes Ben in death.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice. The Pinnell family wishes to thank Faith Presbyterian Hospice of Dallas.
