David Linton Graham, 66, of Denton, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 in Denton, TX. He was born on October 31, 1946 in Bennettsville, S.C. to Henry Linton Graham Jr. and Evelyn Fryer Graham. He grew up in Lincoln, NE and was drafted into the army in 1969; he served as a Medic Spec during Vietnam and earned a Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal and a Bronze Star.

David worked as a pressman and was transferred to Texas in 1980 with Data Control. He retired in 2001. He was a champion for the Texas Rangers, Cowboys and his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers.

A service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Lincoln, NE. A Life Celebration will be held in Denton, TX on November 2, 2013. Online condolences may be made at www.deberryfuneraldirectors.com.

David is survived by his son, Terry Graham and wife Marie, Junction City, KS; daughter, Taylor Singleton, Amboy IL; father, Henry Graham, Lincoln, NE; sisters, Lynda Noell and husband Kent, and Paula Goodwin and husband Lynn all of Denton, TX; brothers, Dennis Graham and wife Peggy, and Douglas Graham and wife Connie all of Lincoln, NE; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn.
