Hazel Pauline Housden was born January 7, 1923 in Aubrey Texas and went to her permanent home in heaven on October 30, 2013 in Sanger, Texas.
She was the daughter of William McKinley Housden and Lela Margaret Copeland Housden. Hazel was the second of 12 children and the first daughter. She has 4 children; Michael Eugene Bowling of Weatherford, Brenda Kay Matheus of Sanger, Margaret Anne Neill of Denton and Bobbi Sue Ray of Argyle. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Hazel became a Christian in 1964 at the age of 41 in Junction City, KS. Hazel loved the Lord with all her heart and He was her favorite conversation.
Although Hazel never completed High School, you wouldn't know that from her love for learning. She believed an idle mind was the devils workshop, so she spent her time reading, studying the Bible, puzzles, playing games, she also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and crafts. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
