Dennis Craig Terwilliger, Jr., age 45, Denton business owner and resident of Copper Canyon, died suddenly at his home, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Born March 5, 1968, in Cornwall, NY, Dennis graduated from JM Bennet High School in Salisbury, MD and from The University of North Texas in Denton. For many years he participated in the Texas Water Safari; a 4 day, 250 mile canoe race. In 2005, he finished 15th Overall and 2nd in his class. Dennis will be remembered best for his infectious smile, booming laugh and generous heart. He loved life, singing along with his father and sailing and paddling with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica McReynolds; son, Glynne "Bubba" McReynolds; daughter, Matisse "Tissy" Guest; parents, Dennis Craig Terwilliger, Sr. and Carolyn and Steve Laffey. He also leaves many other family members and friends, including Sadie Brown Dog.

The family is having a Celebration of Life at Dennis' home, 713 Chinn Chapel Road, Copper Canyon, Texas 75077 on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 4:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home.
