SSgt Davis was born in Huntington, WV, Sept 25th, 1955, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1974. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1985. His final duty station was NAS Dallas, where he was motor transport chief. He enjoyed country music, playing practical jokes on his family, being a member of the United States Marine Corps and most of all, his children.

SSgt Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Imogene (Erwin) Davis and sister Sharon. He is survived by his 4 children, William (Billy) Davis of Cincinnati, OH, Marisa-Rose (SSgt. Robert Matthew) Osborn, Jennifer Davis of Krum, TX, Ethan Davis of Denton, TX, and their mother, Stephanie Watson of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Jorie, William, Memori and Layla Osborn and Coen Anderson of Krum; siblings Shelva, Greg, Tamara and Tim, all of WV and numerous nieces and nephews..

He had an infectious laugh and a sneaky smile. His love of family and dedication to the code of the Marine Corps was without fail or reservation and he is loved and missed by those of us who were honored to have known him.

Semper Fidelis
