Ronald Rutledge Decker, 90 of Dallas passed away Friday, February 14th at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. He was born August 2, 1923 in New Mexico to Ronald and Ola Decker, and later married Bernice Kilgore Decker March 3, 1951 in Shreveport Louisiana

Ronald attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of the Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church. He worked as a civil engineer at Forrest and Cotton, and served in the U.S. Army as 1st Lt. during WWII

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Lisa Decker of Denton, and by his son Michael Hale Decker, of Dallas. He is preceded in death by his wife Bernice Decker.

Service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery at 10:15 am Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
