Billie Fae (GAGA) Cottle, aged 84, of Denton, TX, passed away on March 8, 2014.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., March 15, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Reverends Monya & Jack Howard of Full Gospel Church will be officiating. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday March 14, at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Billie Fae was born in Memphis, TX, on January 26, 1930. She graduated from Pilot Point High School and later relocated to Denton where she soon met her husband-to-be.
Billie Fae was married to Herbert H. Cottle on December 27, 1949. They were married only 14 years before Herbert died and she never remarried.
Billie Fae worked as a school cafeteria manager for DISD for 25 years. She loved cooking, her family, and her church.
Billie Fae is survived by her two daughters, Prudence Haywood and Deborah Cottle, 4 grandchildren, 3+ great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and other family and friends who will deeply miss her.
Billie Fae is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, her 3 older sisters, and her eldest daughter, Jacqueline Ann.
