Don Leo Thomison, 73, of Denton, Texas passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 with his family at his side.

Don was born in Bonham, Texas on November 24, 1940 to David and Minnie Thomison. Don graduated from Sulpher High School in Sulpher, Oklahoma in 1958.

Don enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958 and was Honorably Discharged in 1962 at the rank of Private E-3. Don married his life long love Angela Antuna on November 11, 1962 in Sulpher, Oklahoma. Don and Angela had three children.

Don was employed by Acme Brick in Denton, Texas for 29 years retiring in 2003. Don loved God and was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and he loved his wife and family. He never knew a stranger. His sense of humor was contagious. He will be dearly missed. He touched many lives.

Don is survived by his wife of 51 years, Angela Thomison, of Denton, Texas son Don Thomison Jr. and his wife Jessica of Lytle, Texas, son Bob Thomison and his wife Christine of Sanger, Texas, his daughter Kelly Clary and her husband Michael of Denton, Texas. Don was always "PeePaw" to his 11 grandchildren. Don is also survived by his sisters, Opal Carter, of Sulpher, Oklahoma and Margeret Ann Oliver of Gore, Oklahoma along with numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A "Celebration of the Life of Don Thomison" will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at The Sanger Church of Christ, 400 Locust, in Sanger, Texas with John Payne officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of pantry items be made to the Sanger Church of Christ food pantry.
