Evelyn Louise Gaisford passed peacefully in her sleep on June 14, 2014, under Pathways Hospice Care at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado. She was 91.

Born July 23, 1922, in Denton, Texas, to Charles Martin Henry and Bertha Adeline Henry, Louise grew up in Denton and married L.C. Crosby in 1945. They had two children, Tim and Jan Crosby. L.C. passed in 1955.

In 1957 Louise moved from Texas to Loveland, Colorado, with her mother and two children to take a teaching position at Colorado State University. Teaching and helping others was her mission in life. Louise also taught at Aims Community College and Front Range Community College.

Louise married her soul-mate, Hugh Stanley Gaisford, of Justin, Texas, on September 2, 1960, in Loveland. They had one son, John Mark Gaisford.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Hugh; daughter Jan Walker (Gary); son Tim Crosby (Judy); son John Mark Gaisford (MJ); grandchildren Todd and Randy Stuart, James, Sarah, and Teresa Crosby. She also had five wonderful great-grandchildren she loved very much. Family was everything to her. She was our rock.

Louise also has a surviving sister, Dorothy Crosby, and niece, Lynn Crosby, of Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Cremation has been performed. A memorial service will be held at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Larimer County Food Bank or Larimer County Humane Society.
