Rosa Lee (Lindley) Bryant, age 93, passed away in Denton, Texas, on Friday evening, August 15, 2014.

Rosa was born on January 15, 1921, in Parvin, Texas, to John Riley and Mary Katheryn (Keller) Lindley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delbert and daughter, Linda Lee Bryant.

Rosa graduated from Prosper High School and moved to California to live with her sister, Grace. She met Delbert Bryant who was stationed at Fort Ord and they married on April 17, 1943.

She worked at Texas Instruments for 20 years and retired to Mountain Springs. She was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Rosa was survived by three children, Danny Bryant and wife, Betty, Lilly K. Bryant, Bill Bryant and wife, Audrey; five grandchildren, Wayne Ingram, Jana Sanchez, Joe Bryant, Randy Bryant and wife, Theresa, and Lauren Bryant; four great-grandchildren, Steven Ingram, Tara, A. J., and Alyssa Sanchez.

Visitation will be held at Coker Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located on 257 Burns City Road. Interment will be at the New Hope Cemetery
