Interstate project coming to an end

The price of progress can be expensive. The Texas Department of Transportation will officially declare the completion of the Interstate 35E Express project at a ceremony in Highland Village on Wednesday.

We endured four long years of construction, detours, traffic jams, construction-related crashes and bridge reconstructions during the 30-mile-long widening project between LBJ Freeway in Dallas and U.S. Highway 380 in Denton.
