Celebration of Christ

In recent years, most people have heard the saying, "Keep Christ in Christmas."

I believe that is the essential thought we should keep in our minds during this season, not Black Friday sales and buying loads of gifts, which most will find their way deep into a closet and forgotten about.

The prime reason our country has been so blessed is because we were founded on Judeo-Christian values and we have the opportunity to use our God-given gifts to make good ideas a reality.

That is not the case for most folks in our world; the majority of countries are very restrictive and hold their people down.

On a similar note, in the sport of football, often times when players score they do a touchdown dance, back slap or trash talk.

That's their choice, so why are so many people giving Tim Tebow a hard time when he chooses to praise our Lord? We should all be so proud and thankful that we are free to perform at our full potential.

"Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." (Luke 9:26)
