Silence deafening

Bubba called. Said add this kernel of information to the ethanol fact sheet: It takes 1,000 gallons of water to grow the corn to produce 1 gallon of ethanol; whether the water comes in rainfall or irrigation. Corn requires 20 to 22 inches of water to produce a good crop (American Cowboy, 2013 February/March edition).

Bubba asked why the rabid environmentalists aren’t up in arms over this waste of good water for such a small return; it takes more water to produce a gallon of ethanol than it does to produce a gallon of oil or gas? Hum?

The silence is deafening. Same response over the cost of solar and wind-generated power.

Bubba said he feels (tee-hee) for the mainstream media not allowed any pictures of our Dictator in Chief and old Tiger Woods playing golf.

If this bunch would have as much concern over Benghazi, Fast and Furious, etc., Americans would be a lot better off. Seems this bunch has become lapdogs for Obama.

They never investigate anything dealing with this administration but give full-throat support and vilify anyone who does question Obama’s actions. They aren’t reporters — they’re skycaps for Obama — carrying his bags (decisions); too invested to vet this street organizer.

Bubba said he and The Kid are working shorthanded as Old DeWitt left for Muleshoe yesterday.

His older-than-dirt sister got bucked off her horse and landed a tad hard — nothing broken, but at her age, that dump had to hurt.
