Sounds familiar

It was gratifying to know that there are some very wise and intelligent men who are writing in to the DRC letters section of the newspaper March 17.

I believe in these good and patriotic men — Eric Mach, Lee Nahrgang, John Schuh and Larry Jambor — and their honest thoughts about the continuing destruction of our nation by Obama and his selected representatives, whose only desire is to mislead, deceive, coerce, intimidate and with mendaciousness control the populace of our country.

The dumbing-down of society from a government-sponsored education system (socialist-leaning), from kindergarten on and even into the collegiate realm, by union-organized teachers and professors who owe their allegiance to the government, which no longer teaches our founding documents, nor our history, will always lean to the left, allowing for the likes of Obama and his kind to inherit power over the rest of us.

Those of us who actually think for ourselves, like the men I mentioned above, will always be against this assault on our very well-being.

As in Adolph Hitler’s time — most Germans knew nothing about him — yet, through great oratory and promises of jobs for the jobless, money for the moneyless and rewards for votes, he gained influence.

He advocated gun control, indoctrinated young people, offered health care for all and better wages, and promised to re-instill pride once again in a country reeling from a recession.

Sound familiar?
