Socialist tactics

After four decades of Democratic control of Detroit, their utopia has totally collapsed after extreme taxation and corruption. Scenic California is on a similar financial path, because of the Democrats’ policies, out-of-control spending and debt, which has caused high unemployment and a huge exodus from that state.

The proof of that is millions of people have been leaving such Demoratic hollows and coming to places like the Republican state of Texas to find work.

Also, the real unemployment rate is more than 14 percent and will increase as the Obamacare mandate is imposed. Under Obama, middle-class families’ income has declined and they now have to deal with more than $3 per gallon for gas, increased food prices and cost of living.

So, it is perplexing to see views like T. Jervis Underwood [DRC, Oct. 6] and Walter Lindrose [DRC, Oct. 16] who are still crying for more leftist policies. Do they think that Obama and the Democrats are “sensitive and caring” because they kill American jobs and opportunities and then offer food stamps?

It is surprising in this age with so much information at our fingertips, that folks still fall for the same leftist lies that turned people into peasants over and over again throughout recent history.

So why do local puppets continue to write the same pinko propaganda?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

The socialists of today are using the same tactics as the socialists of the past.
