A letter by Michael S. Dana [DRC, Nov. 3] caught my attention. The reason is his contumely wording toward Ray Roberts and also about Sen. Ted Cruz, who happens to be my representative.
Mr. Dana assumes that Mr. Roberts is apparently of such a weak mind he cannot think correctly for himself.
Mr. Dana, you may want to bone up on Mr. Roberts because he is a very intelligent man and does know a great deal of which he speaks.
You, on the other hand, are obviously mistrustful of only one side of the political spectrum.
Has it ever occurred to you that you may be the person who is wrong, not only on this issue, but the one who fully accepts anything the liberal Democratic Party decides, and you think is best for the rest of us?
Your desire to believe in the mendacious miscreants Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and others in the Communist Party you find no fault with, and go against people in the conservative party whose only goal is to preserve and protect our Constitution and Bill of Rights, handed down by some pretty smart gentlemen known as our Founding Fathers.
You may want to rethink your insulting tirade against some really fine men. Your freedom was not earned by you, but by them.
This cynical attempt to disparage others does you no good. Perhaps you should refrain from making statements of which you truly know nothing about.
Have a nice day, Mr. Dana.
