Hammons for constable
Johnny Hammons’ 20 years of experience in law enforcement, including 10 years as a deputy constable uniquely qualifies him for constable Precinct 1. This experience gives him specific knowledge, judgment and perspective as it relates to civil law and the potentially adversarial situations that can arise.
In 10 years as deputy constable, he maintained nothing less than exemplary service to the residents of Denton County. Most importantly, he has earned a reputation of integrity and has forged relationships that could only be developed over this period.
Johnny Hammons’ respect for the U.S. Constitution and unwavering commitment to defend it while adhering to the rule of law is the moral, ethical and legal plumb line that is essential to maintain the standards expected of the constable’s office. The court-mandated duty of delivering important legal papers such as arrest warrants, protective orders from domestic violence, evictions and legal judgments are essential to the legal process.
His 16,000 hours of on-the-job training relating to civil law guarantees he has the knowledge and experience to ensure important legal documents are correctly served according to the prevailing rule of law.
While the office of constable Precinct 1 was unoccupied for more than four months in 2013, Senior Deputy Johnny Hammons played a vital role in the continued effective execution of the office’s vital services. That level of excellence will return to the office when the voters elect Johnny Hammons as constable Precinct 1 on March 4.
Vote for Crownover
I support Myra Crownover to be our state representative. Myra has been an active part of our community for more than 30 years. She and her husband, Ronny, ran a vet clinic for decades and all of their children went to Denton public schools. She has served on just about every board and helped just about every good cause that has ever existed in Denton County.
I try not to get caught up in what all these outside-of-the-area political groups say about candidates. I think sending a representative to Austin is about trust. Myra is someone who has demonstrated that she cares about this community and I know that I can trust her to represent us in Austin. Please join me in supporting her with our votes.
Elect Todd Staples
Todd Staples is running for lieutenant governor and I am proud to support him. Todd Staples is a consistent conservative leader who will get things done for Texans. That’s what he’s done his entire life. When there’s a problem, Todd Staples gets to work and finds a solution.
We have many issues facing the Lone Star State, and we need a conservative who solves problems. I hope you will join me in supporting Todd Staples for lieutenant governor.
